Theresa Ann Betros

Smart and sassy, courageous and inspirational, generous and sarcastic, Theresa was truly one-of-a-kind who will be dearly missed and always remembered.

The stories below are just some of the memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her unconditionally in return.

During the Christmas season, it was tradition for mom to watch 'Meet Me in St. Louis' while baking cookies.  She was an amazing baker.  In grammar school, the teachers would frown when they realized that mom only had two children and that after Bobby that was the last time they’d get to enjoy them.  Her co-workers would make requests, too.

The only piece of jewelry mom wore was a ring she got for Mother’s Day when Bobby & I were 7 & 9.  It had to be cut off one day many years later because it was cutting off circulation.  One year, when I was at a loss to figure out what to get her for Christmas I decided to get the ring resized.  I schemed and schemed and when Christmas arrived, she realized all of the little things I’d done was to find out information.  And when she realized it….she gave me a look and said, “You little $h!t.”  It was priceless and totally worth it.
