Robert L. Boyce
It is the dream of every coach to have a true impact and Bob made that a reality. With his constant dedication and guidance, he developed teams built on integrity that led to championships teams and successful individuals. Yet it was his humility and ability to share success with those around him that made him beloved by all those who were truly fortunate to have been a part of his world.
May Bob’s sense of humor and his storytelling continue to echo in the hearts and minds of all those who admired, respected and loved him.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged, Bob’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following
Founded in 2005 as a local chapter, the Miracle League of Mercer County was created for and dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in an organized baseball league that celebrates their spirit in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Joseph Thomas Angiolino was born with a rare, congenital disease called Hurler’s Syndrome and despite all medical treatments, passed away at 15 months of age in 2010. His parents founded Joey’s Little Angels to help other families who are in need of support - emotional, logistical, financial - in helping their own children who are in need of significant medical treatments. In addition to the 12,000 toys the organization has donated during the holiday seasons, Joey’s Little Angels has also given over $100,000 to the Duke Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Family Support Program to help other families and children like Joey during the most challenging time of their young lives.
Founded in memory of Eli Thomas Waller, the First Day of School Foundation provides financial assistance for school-related and therapeutic expenses for Special Education students and families.
The Colonial Valley Conference Basketball Association is also accepting donations for the 2024 Competitive Spirit Award and scholarship in memory and honor of Coach Bob Boyce.
The award will go to a senior student-athlete who has displayed true grit, tenacity and toughness and who plays with competitive edge that elevates teammates.
Donations may be sent to Kristin Jacobs, President of the CVCBA. Please reach out to kjacobs@htsdnj.org for more information.
