Jack T. Longmuir, Sr.
~ In Loving Memory ~
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged, Jack’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to
Wreaths Across America
Quietly donating hundreds of unsold Christmas wreaths from 1992- 2005 to be laid on older sections of Arlington National Cemetery, Morrill Worchester and his wife, Karen received national attention in 2005 when an image of Arlington went viral. Overwhelmed with positive responses, the couple created Wreaths Across America in 2007 and on December 13, 2008 placed over 100,000 wreaths on veterans graves in over 300 locations with the help of 60,000 volunteers, enabling Congress to created ‘Wreaths Across America Day.’ This tradition continues to grow in honor of veterans lest we ever forget.
