As a veteran of the Korean War, Gene continued his commitment to service in volunteering his time for myriad organizations benefitting his community.

He will be forever remembered for his unrivaled storytelling, his art of the joke, and for the love, affection and devotion he gave to his wife, children grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
