The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. Since its founding in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, the Foundation has modeled its program on fostering innovative research to ultimately finding a cure.

Through a unique and streamlined grants program, it seeks out the brightest minds in science and medicine and gives them the necessary resources to pursue their best ideas. As a result, the Foundation has provided the necessary funding to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship - and all in an abbreviated time frame.

National Breast Cancer Coalition

Founded in 1991, the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is a collaboration of activists, survivors, researchers, policy-makers, grassroots groups and national organizations that have come together as disruptive innovators for social change. Linking hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of individuals across the country, the NBCC is guided by three primary goals of: research; access - particularly for the underserved and uninsured which led to the first-ever system of access to care for thousands of low-income women with breast and cervical cancer; and influence & education.
