Mercer Street Friends was founded in 1958 by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) who were concerned about the decaying Trenton community and its impact on residents. Since then, the organization has grown into a multi-faceted human service agency serving more than 20,000 families throughout Mercer County who face the challenges and impacts of poverty, Its integrated programs and services target disparities related to: education, food insecurity, parental and family wellness, youth enrichment opportunities and community-building capacity, with the goal of helping those overcome poverty and its lasting detrimental effects.

In Memory Of ensures that the family knows of your support.  All donor names will be sent to the family in a single letter, allowing your generosity to be known and acknowledged.  As it is the thought that counts, the amount of your donation will not be disclosed.
