Alphonse Galullo

When the dawn breaks for a perfect day down the shore, or the crowd goes wild as the Eagles score late in the 4th, may the memories Al created with family and friends be shared once more in love and everlasting affection.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged Al’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Tunnel to Towers Foundation

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. Through its programs, the Foundation is committed to ensuring we never forget the events of 9/11, the sacrifices that were made and the sacrifices that continue to be made by our first responders in the line of duty today.

Through the Fallen First Responder Home Program, Tunnel to Towers aims to pay off the mortgages of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty that leave behind young children. With its Smart Home Program, The Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds mortgage-free smart homes for the most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Each home is designed to address the unique needs of each individual, enabling them to reclaim their independence. And launched in 2018, The Gold Star Family Home Program expands the Foundation’s service to honor the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country, providing a mortgage-free home to surviving spouses with young children.

Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project aims to help injured service members aid and assist each other by providing unique, direct programs to meet their individual needs. Programs include: Combat Stress Recovery which addresses the mental health and cognitive needs of warriors returning from war; the Independence Program, designed for warriors who rely on their family or caregivers as a result of moderate-to-severe brain injury, spinal-cord injury, or other neurological conditions; Family Support; Transition Training; and the Warrior Care Network, connecting veterans to academic medical centers that can address undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues suffered from the travesty of war.

Serenity Hospice

The Galullo family would like to thank the entire staff for the compassion and generosity they provided Al while he was under their care. A memorial contribution to the Serenity Hospice would be both a living tribute to his memory and help other families receive the care they deserve - when they need it most.
