Gordon was dedicated to his country while serving in the U.S. Army during the 1950’s and he continued his commitment to service by volunteering with the Kalamazoo Fire Department while in Michigan.
A memorial contribution made to the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company would both honor Gordon’s memory and continue to support the volunteers who help keep one of Gordon’s favorite vacation spots, and its community, safe from harm.
