Warrior Expeditions

Warrior Expeditions is a veteran nonprofit outdoor therapy program that supports combat veterans transitioning from their military service by participating in long distance outdoor expeditions. Historically, military units would experience a lengthy journey home after fighting a campaign abroad. During this journey home, warriors would process and come to terms with their wartime experiences. But in today’s age of modern transportation military personnel can find themselves home within a few days of serving in a combat zone. Warrior Expeditions gives veterans that much-needed space and time through a long-distance outdoor expedition alongside other veterans who understand the challenges of transitioning from military service to civilian life. Interaction with communities along the way facilitates veterans’ reintegration into society, restores their faith in humanity, and builds a network of life-long friendships. Warrior Expeditions provides veterans with the equipment and supplies required to complete a long distance outdoor expedition, coordinates community support in the forms of transportation, lodging, and food from veteran and community organizations located along the route and assists veterans with job placement opportunities at the completion of their journey with the program’s numerous sponsors and partners.

Charity of your choice

The Britt Family has asked that you remember Ann in your own special & unique way.  A memorial donation to the charity of your choice would be a living tribute to her memory.

In Memory Of ensures that the family knows of your support.  All donor names will be sent to the family in a single letter, allowing your generosity to be known and acknowledged.  As it is the thought that counts, the amount of your donation will not be disclosed.

By using In Memory Of, you are assured that your information will be kept confidential. We will not forward your name or contact information to the organization that received your donation, thereby preventing any future solicitation.

To provide our services, cover credit card processing fees and grow our social organization, we receive six percent of the total contributions and add one dollar to the overall donation that will be charged to your card.

If you choose not to use our services and would prefer to write a check directly to the organization, please click the button below to find the correct mailing address.  In Memory Of cannot guarantee the family will be notified of your generosity, nor can we protect you from future solicitations.
