Hope House Ministries
40 years ago, Hope House Ministries started as a neighborhood response to a neighborhood issue ~ a 10-bed facility providing compassionate crisis intervention for young men aged 16 to 21. Since then, it has become a multi-faceted human service agency, helping to address homelessness, addiction, juvenile delinquency, high school drop outs, teen pregnancy, evictions, domestic violence or sexual abuse, and has expanded its service area to include all of Long Island, New England and beyond. Services and programs are open to anyone in need, no matter their race, ethnicity, social-economic status, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or language and all services are offered free of charge.
