Dirk was the life of the party, the center of the dance floor and the star of the show.

May his air guitar forever rock on in the hearts, minds, and souls of all those he loved and all those who loved him unequivocally in return.

Overlook Foundation

Dirk was a dedicated and proud Atlantic Health employee throughout his long career and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was inspired to help others in need and was his family’s true hero.

If you would like to remember Dirk in a special way, the Schoneveld family has requested memorial contributions to the Overlook Foundation. All contributions made in his name will be directed specifically for the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ where he was cared for.
