Michael's generosity was the foundation of all he did and accomplished in life. Whether it was through his proud enlistment as a Marine, his five decades as a Rotarian or his integral part of establishing Gift of Life, Michael consistently and perpetually gave himself to others.
He will be truly & deeply missed and his legacy will be forever remembered by all those who loved him.

In 1973, a Rotary Club in Long Island, NY, was asked to help a five-year-old girl in Uganda get the open-heart surgery she needed to correct a congenital defect. After the project’s success, these Rotarians felt compelled to continue helping children anywhere in the world where this life-saving surgery was not available.
Today Gift of Life NJ, a project of the Rotary Clubs in District 7470, saves the lives of children by providing resources to treat children with congenital heart defects from anywhere in the world where their assistance is needed. They help bring children to the United states for surgery, sponsor overseas missions, train foreign surgeons, and provide needed equipment.
