Richard Ernest Wilde
There are some born into this world whose innate purpose is to selflessly give their time, their energy and their complete commitment to instill a love of learning in developing minds.
Richard was one of these few.
Whether teaching, counseling, or coaching, Richard was devoted to nothing less than wanting the best for the children of his community. May his years of service continue to inspire, just as he did in the classroom, at the campsite or on the field.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged, Richard’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to
Save the Children
Eglantyne Jebb founded Save the Children in 1919 with the conviction that children have the right to grow up healthy, educated and safe. Since then, based on her ideals, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is now the most universally accepted human rights treaty in history. The organization works worldwide, in times of peace and times of crisis, to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. In 2023 alone, Save the Children programs and partners helped 105.9 million children in 115 countries become healthier, safer and better educated.
Richard’s life was dedicated to enabling children to learn and thrive. If you would like to remember him in a special way, a memorial donation to Save the Children would be an extension of his legacy in giving children around the world the opportunity to learn and thrive in a safe and comforting environment.
