To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Randall's family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Jazz House Kids

Founded by grammy-award winning jazz singer Melissa Walker and her husband, Christian McBride, Jazz House Kids offers unique opportunities to introduce children to the world of music through jazz. Practicing and learning from their mentors and one another, students develop confidence, perseverance, collaboration, accountability and an openness to constructive feedback - skills that will benefit them throughout life and improve the communities in which they live. The organization’s programs continue to evolve and have included scholarships and free-instrument programs: recognition of the need for a pipeline for female players inspired “Chica Power,” a month-long free program for girls; cultural exchanges initiated in Peru and the UK; and the annual “no tickets required” Montclair Jazz Festival, with 3 stages that entertain and enlighten thousands.

Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation

Inspired by the story on which the film Mr. Holland’s Opus was based, film score writer Michael Kaemen created the Foundation in 1996 to ensure continued opportunities for musical education in schools. In collaboration with committed school districts, the Foundation donates high-quality musical instruments to deserving, under-funded music programs, and provides an array of support services that are strategically placed as part of a K–12 district-wide plan to achieve positive and lasting results, benefiting students, their families and the community at large.
