When the colorful hand-made signs are proudly displayed in loving encouragement or a favorite board game is taken down from the shelf, the memories Elaine created with family & friends will be shared once more with nostalgic smiles and eternal love and affection.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Elaine’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Deborah Hospital Foundation

Compassion has always been at the heart of the Deborah mission. Beginning in 1922 to help treat tuberculosis patients, the center transitioned to other pulmonary and cardiology based medical conditions post the advent and widespread use of antibiotics. Today, Deborah is a leading medical center dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of all cardiac, vascular and pulmonary disease, as well as congenital and acquired heart defects.

The Foundation helps support the clinical mission of the Center and to ensure the philosophy - 'there can be no price on life' - is promoted and upheld. Although Deborah now accepts most major insurance, over the last 92 years Deborah has never issued a direct bill to any patient, meaning no deductible or bill is charged to the patient for services received from Deborah Heart and Lung Center.

Penn Medicine

Penn Medicine traces its legacy to a history of being at the forefront. First in the nation to found a hospital in 1751, School of Medicine in 1765, and the first teaching hospital in 1874, it has continued in its commitment to advance medical and scientific boundaries. In just over the past 30 years, Penn physicians and scientists have participated in the development of magnetic resonance imaging, the first general vaccine against pneumonia and the discovery of the Philadelphia chromosome, revolutionizing cancer research by making the connection between genetic abnormalities and cancer.
