National Greyhound Adoption Program

Originally founded in 1989, flying a few greyhounds up from the racing tracks in Florida to its headquarters in Philadelphia, the NGAP has grown and evolved significantly in its mission to help care for, foster and find adoptive homes for racing greyhounds. With its own veterinary clinic onsite, expertise in canine dental care, as well as live-in caretakers, the NGAP now receives greyhounds from across the country and has expanded its clinical services to meet the needs of other dog breeds & cats.

Helen was an innate animal lover, adopting former racing greyhounds and thoroughly enjoying watching them as they sprinted through her rolling backyard. A memorial contribution in her honor would be both a living tribute to Helen’s memory and also help more greyhounds find their forever homes.
