Proudly serving his country in Vietnam, John continued his dedication to citizenship and became a pillar of his community through his devoted work as a police officer, achieving the rank of lieutenant.

He will be missed as husband, father, brother, comrade and friend, and his impact and memory will live on in all those who were fortunate to have known him.

Since 1993, Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center has been affiliated with the highly respected Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of 40 programs in the country designated as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute. This alliance facilitated the opening of a cancer center to serve families who previously had to travel hours to receive radiation therapy and brought the extraordinary resources of a nationally renowned program to the local community of Hunterdon County.
