Founded in 1960, The Midland School is dedicated to the continued growth and education of those children born with developmental disabilities. From educational courses and daily living skills, to integrated health services, including speech and occupational therapy and counseling, the staff at school take a holistic approach in empowering the students and young adults transitioning out to become an integral part of their communities.

As a lifelong caretaker of his beloved son, Joe sincerely appreciated the caring and compassionate education and services the staff consistently gave to help Matt. A memorial contribution to The Midland School would be both a living tribute to his memory and help other families receive the help they deserve - when they need it most.
