The Friendship Fund at the Heath Village Retirement Community was established in 1971 to help support those residents who have come upon financial hardships. Championed by the Reverend Clarence Sickle, Executive Director at the time, the fund facilitates 100% of received donation to help those residents in need of supplemental income. Originally established as the Friendship Fund, this has been recently renamed to honor the integrity, dedication and compassion demonstrated by Reverend Sickles, who recently passed away at the height of the pandemic this past year.
