As a long-time and active member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, this has been the religious and spiritual home for Marian and the Nixon family. Marian gave her time freely, serving as elder, deacon and with various other ministries, as well as being part of the Quilters group, during her almost 60 years with the church. Her devotion, kindness and generosity of spirit were pillars of the community and she will be forever remembered by those blessed to have known her.
