Foster Parrots
After 10 years of rescuing unwanted parrots and finding them new adoptive homes, Marc Johnson officially founded Foster Parrots, Ltd. in 1999 as one of the first parrot rescue organizations in the country. In 2008, the organization created the New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary on 15 acres in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, renovating and transforming a former chicken factory into a place of peace and safety for hundreds of both birds and animals. With an additional 8 acres donated in 2013 to help preserve the natural forest and surrounding wetlands, the sanctuary continues to grow and evolve, offering educational programs, outreach programs, student internships and adoptions.
Penn Medicine - Princeton Health
The Tumino family would like to thank the entire staff for the compassion and generosity they provided Lorraine while she was under their care. A memorial contribution to Penn Medicine - Princeton Health would be both a living tribute to her memory and help other families receive the care they deserve - when they need it most.
