A local icon and pillar of his community, there are not enough words to describe Mickey’s dedication to his town and the impact he had on so many.
He loved and was beloved and his selfless generosity will be forever etched in the hearts and memories of all those who were truly blessed to have known him.

National PKU Alliance
Phenylketonuria (known as PKU) is a rare, inherited metabolic disease resulting in decreased metabolism of the amino acid phenylalanine. Untreated, PKU can lead to intellectual disability, seizures, behavioral problems and mental disorders. Founded in 2008, the National PKU Alliance works to improve the lives of families and individuals associated with PKU through research, support, education and advocacy, while ultimately seeking a cure.
New Providence Fire Department
Originally organized with 24 charter members in 1902, the New Providence Fire Department was initially housed in the blacksmith shop of John Wahl. Since its founding, it has been an all volunteer company serving the citizens of New Providence.
Mickey was a 67-year volunteer member of the New Providence Fire Department. A contribution made in his memory would not only be a living tribute to his dedication to New Providence, it would also thank and continue to help those who serve.
