Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project aims to help injured service members aid and assist each other by providing unique, direct programs to meet their individual needs. Programs include: Combat Stress Recovery which addresses the mental health and cognitive needs of warriors returning from war; the Independence Program, designed for warriors who rely on their family or caregivers as a result of moderate-to-severe brain injury, spinal-cord injury, or other neurological conditions; Family Support; Transition Training; and the Warrior Care Network, connecting veterans to academic medical centers that can address undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues suffered from the travesty of war.

Alfred served in the United States Army and the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War.

Tunnel to Towers foundation

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. The Foundation is committed to ensuring we never forget the events of 9/11 and the sacrifices that were made and continue to be made by our first responders in the line of duty.
