Joseph N. Lenza, Jr.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
With an intuitive understanding, Joe lived his life with genuine meaning. Whether it was appreciating the natural beauty of this world or making meals with love and care, Joe shared these experiences and his time with family and friends. His absence leaves a great void, but it was his beautiful presence that will always be remembered and cherished by those blessed to have known him.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Joe’s Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia was founded in 1855 by Francis West Lewis, MD. After visiting the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London, Dr. Lewis decided to create the first hospital in the United States dedicated to finding cures and treating illnesses and injuries specific to children. In the Hospital's first year, it had 12 beds and a dispensary. Today, Children’s Hospital has 546 beds and more than 1 million outpatient visits and inpatient admissions each year. Patients around the world benefit from major research advances in a variety of areas including cardiac, genetics, cancer, fetal surgery, neonatology and vaccines.
