Eileen Karluk
Eileen was embodied with both initiative and a dedication to helping others throughout her life.
Whether it was through her professional career as a registered nurse, her service to country in the Korean War, as a selfless congregant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church or her doting customer service at the candy store, Eileen consistently and perpetually gave herself to others.
Her energy, enthusiasm and no-nonsense commonsense will be missed by all who were truly blessed to have known her.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Eileen’s Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to
Doctors Without Borders
Amid the Parisian upheavals of May 1968, a group of young doctors decided to go and help victims of wars and major disasters. This new brand of humanitarianism would reinvent the concept of emergency aid. They were to become Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), known internationally in English as Doctors Without Borders. MSF was created on the belief that all people have the right to medical care regardless of gender, race, religion, creed, or political affiliation, and that the needs of these people outweigh respect for national boundaries.
