John A Caspar
Proudly serving his country in WWII and the Korean War, John went on to complete his education under the GI Bill. A creative and dedicated engineer, he was awarded multiple patents, including one for work associated with the development of the RamJet engine.
“Uncle Jack” was a living testament to the ingenuity, integrity and resourcefulness of the Greatest Generation, and his memory will live on in those fortunate to have known him.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - John’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following
Cure Sanfilippo Foundation
Sanfilippo Syndrome (also known as MPS III) is a rare, progressive, and fatal disease affecting 1 in 70,000 children. Sanfilippo is a genetic condition that affects the metabolism of complex molecules and results in severe damage to the entire body, but most significantly to the brain. The Cure Sanfilippo Foundation has come to represent a collection of Sanfilippo families and friends/supporters from across the country, advocating for and funding research directed towards a cure and treatment options for patients with Sanfilippo Syndrome.
Veterans Charity of the Donor's Choice
The Caspar Family has asked that if you would like to honor John in your own special way, a memorial donation to the veterans charity of your choice would be a living tribute to his service and dedication to his country.
