In 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt sought to unite several service associations - the Salvation Army, Young Men’s Christian Association, Young Women’s Christian Association, National Catholic Community Services, National Travelers Aid Association and the National Jewish Welfare Board - to lift the morale of the US military.  Throughout its 75 year history, the USO has continued to provide services, programs & entertainment to US military personnel in support of their dedication to their country & to keep them connected to those at home.
