As a long-time and active parishioner of the Parsippany Presbyterian Church, this has been the religious and spiritual community for Gary and the Large family. Gary gave his time freely, serving as church deacon for many years. His leadership, kindness and generosity of spirit were pillars of the community and he will be forever remembered by those blessed to have known him.

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, the organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers, 156 local offices and over 3,000 employees. The organization funds innovative research, advocates for stronger public health policies, and provides critical tools and information to save and improve lives. The American Stroke Association was created as a division in 1997 to bring together the organization’s stroke-related activities.
