Susan Barbara Ayers
As a nurse and caregiver, Susan always went above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of her patients. Her kindness and generosity of spirit will continue to thrive in those she cherished most ~ her loving family, dear friends and canine companions.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Susan’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following
Lupus Foundation of America
The Lupus Foundation of America national research program, Bringing Down the Barriers™ was created in 1977 and was the first private national lupus research program. By funding innovative studies and advancing the current state of research, early data provided pathways toward identifying people at highest risk for lupus and stopping the disease before it starts. As of today, the Lupus Foundation of America is the only national force devoted to improving the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy and continues its mission to help eradicate this insidious disease.
