As part of the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Adele Smithers Parkinson’s Disease Treatment Center provides comprehensive rehabilitation and the latest research and treatments in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as psychological counseling and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) for patients suffering with Parkinson’s Disease.

Dick was a patient at the center and received excellent treatment from the director of the program, Dr. Adena Leder.
