Ralph Bakley

"She felt sorry for me so she married me."

Ralph's humor and characteristic nonchalance belied an intense dedication and devotion to what was truly important and meaningful to him during his life ~

his country, his community and his unbounded love for his family.

From his humble service in the U.S. Air Force in Strategic Air Command during the Korean War to his endless work with benevolent organizations in Cape May County, Ralph served proudly and tirelessly in the service of his country and the citizens of his home community.

Everyone who knew Ralph has a story, and when these tales are re-told over friendship and laughter, the memories that he created with family and friends will be shared forever more.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Bakley Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Animal Outreach

Founded in 1998 by a small group of animal lovers, Animal Outreach continues to provide shelter, care and love for the unwanted, abused and/or abandoned animals of Cape May County. Committed to helping educate the community in responsible pet ownership, the organization strives to find forever homes for its current residents, and relies on a dedicated network of volunteers that make up its current foster family network.

As a K-9 officer for Cape May County for 15 years, and the first president of the United States Police Canine Association, Ralph cared deeply and passionately about the welfare of animals and was committed to helping those in need.
