Its innovative program of offering low-cost and free spay and neuter surgeries, established in 2004, has evolved to become the Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital which sees over 11,000 pet patients of families of modest means and Richmond SPCA adopters.
All contributions made in Patricia’s memory will directed to the spay and neuter fund, allowing the Richmond SPCA to continue making its services affordable to those families in need.
