To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Abeln Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Yellow Ribbon Fund

Founded to serve the injured coming back from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Yellow Ribbon Fund also recognized the importance of keeping the family together during the critical recuperation phase. Initial programs provided free hotel rooms and apartments as well as free transportation for visiting family members. Since then, the YRF has continued to evolve, providing additional programs to benefit injured veterans and their families including the Family Caregiver Program (Keystone) - providing services for caregivers such as therapeutic massages as well as other services that can positively impact the entire family; the Ambassador Program - volunteer recruitment to help the injured rebuild their lives after they return to their hometowns; and Volunteer Lawyers for Veterans - expert volunteers providing free legal service and guidance to veterans.
