~ Joe the Barber ~
Joe was a Summit icon and always at the epicenter of his community. Whether he was donating his time in giving free haircuts for silent auctions and patients at Overlook Hospital, judging classic car shows or tending his garden plots, his constant generosity was a lifeline through the Summit community that he loved.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all those who were truly blessed to have known him.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - Joe’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the
Wagner Farm Arboretum
Owned and operated as a working dairy farm by the Wagner family since 1917, 92 acres were purchased by Warren Township to keep as on open space for the community. It has since become home to an arboretum, Community Garden and the Giving Garden Project - helping to feed those in less fortunate circumstances - as well as its most recent addition of a Children’s Garden to help inspire the natural wonder of the world to children.
