Inspired by the natural world, Fred’s vitality came from being outdoors, whether it was through his professional career as the Chief of Wildlife Management or in his free time hunting, fishing and watching the horses with his beloved wife Barbara.
A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Fred’s love of family and his joy of life will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those who were blessed to have known him.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged, Fred's family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the
Woodlands Wildlife Refuge
Woodlands Wildlife Refuge, located in Alexandria Township, began in 1986 with the care of two orphaned raccoons. Today Woodlands cares for hundreds of animals a year, with the ultimate goal of the release of orphaned and injured native wildlife back to their natural habitat. Woodlands is proud of the thousands of animals it has been able to assist and release back to the wilderness, and this is their greatest reward.
Fred dedicated his life and his career to the great outdoors he loved.
