Cynthia Brenner

Cynthia's generosity was the foundation of all she did and accomplished in life.  Whether it was through her professional career as a registered nurse, as part of her spiritual community at St. Joseph’s Church, or in her cherished roles as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Cynthia consistently and perpetually gave herself to others. She will be dearly missed by all those who were truly blessed to have known her.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Brenner Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Covenant House New York

Covenant House New York began more than 40 years ago when six young runaways were given shelter from a snowstorm, in the lower east side of Manhattan. The organization helps young people who are homeless and without a place to turn. All, regardless of gender, age, pregnancy, sexual orientation or teenage mothers are treated without judgement or bias, but with love and celebration of who they are.

To prevent and break the cycle of chronic adult homelessness and bridge the gap of support in the lives of our youth, Covenant House New York has a comprehensive Continuum of Care characterized by the coordination and integration of a range of services including: crisis care and shelter; transitional living; health care; employment and job readiness training; educational support and GED preparation; legal services; street outreach; aftercare and drop-in; and more.

ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of its founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
