With a smile that would light up the room and a charm that made all feel welcomed in her presence, Angela gave her whole self to others.

The organization, founded in 1866, was the first humane society established in North America and is dedicated to shaping a society that continuously improves the lives of animals. 

CANCER INSTITUTE OF NJ

The Cancer Institute of New Jersey is the state's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, delivering advanced comprehensive care to adults and children including access to clinical trials and conducts cutting-edge cancer research. To be designated by the NCI, the center has met the requirements in cancer care, research, prevention and education with its multidisciplinary team focus on a specific type of cancer that is led by an academic physician who is an expert in the cause and treatment of that disease. The Institute also acts as a consortium cancer center leveraging the science of the state's researchers through collaboration, and supports the research of more than 180 members at Rutgers University, Princeton University and the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. With this infrastructure, the Rutgers Cancer Institute is dedicated to improving the prevention, detection, treatment, and care of patients with cancer, through the transformation of laboratory discoveries into clinical practice - outsmarting cancer with science.
